Royal Flush measures travel from UFA in Lac La Biche. Vilna is about 81 km away by road, about 161 km round trip, so at $1.50 per km travel works out to about $240. The village notes Highway 36, about five minutes west, gives direct paved access to Lac La Biche. Minimum charges and travel costs are confirmed before dispatch.
Since spring 2014 Vilna has received water from the regional line from Edmonton. The village belongs to the Highway 28/63 Regional Water Commission and provides sewer service. Smoky Lake County lists a raw water truck fill at the Vilna water treatment plant on Main Street. Royal Flush works on the plumbing, water heaters and drains in your home.
Smoky Lake County runs its own gas utility, Smoky Lake County Natural Gas, formed in 1976, and its April 2021 meeting minutes show it holds gas accounts inside the Village of Vilna. If you smell gas, leave the building and call 911 and the utility from outside. Once it is safe, Royal Flush can repair gas lines, furnaces and heaters.
